Khartoum, November 22, 2022 AD (SUNA) – Ms. Hanan Al-Haj Hakim, Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Khartoum State, handed the minister-designate this morning, in her office, the support provided by the Governor of Khartoum for Premier League clubs, in the presence of Mr. Awad Hamid, Director of Financial and Administrative Affairs in the Council, and Dr. Mortada Mohamed Abu Bakr, Director of Administration. And Mr. Al-Fateh Ibrahim Al-Tom, Vice President of Al-Ahly Club, received the support of Al-Ahly Club, and Mr. Abu Dhar Abdel-Baqi received the support of Cooper Club, and Mr. Tariq Kamel received the support of Wad Nubawi Club, and Mr. Talha Ali received the support of Totti Club, and Dr. Mortada Muhammad Abu Bakr received the support of Al-Zouma Club. The minister thanked Mr. Ahmed Othman Hamza, the governor of Khartoum in charge of the generous support, and stated that this support is considered a good omen. She stressed the importance of sport in the general health of the athletes, and announced to the clubs that the budget for the next year 2023 will be estimated and considered to help the clubs in conducting their business, pointing to the need to change misconceptions about sports. She mentioned Sport is considered one of the priorities of the government of Khartoum State. For his part, Mr. Al-Fateh Ibrahim, a representative of the clubs, expressed his thanks to the governor and the minister for the appreciated support. He affirmed that Al-Mumtaz clubs stand with the council, and renewed the keenness of the clubs to develop and organize investment in the clubs.
