Khartoum, November 22, 2022 AD (SUNA) – The Director General of the Ministry of Culture, Information and Tourism in Khartoum State, Awad Ahmedan, confirmed his welcome to the idea of organizing the Al-Ailafoun Festival No. (1). During his meeting in his office this morning with the Al-Ailafoun Festival Committee No. (1) in the presence of the directors of the General Department of Culture and the General Administration of Information in the ministry, he called for the festival to be national, bringing together all the people of Sudan, highlighting all aspects of creativity, and working on holding seminars to deal with drugs and hate speech, as well as classifying works, indicating that East of the Nile is the source of Sufi creativity and culture.
The Director General of Culture explained the importance of introducing the creations of the region and creators, defining the region, involving youth, disseminating their creativity, and nurturing various talents, especially children, women and people with special needs. the festival . For his part, Dhafer Zine El Abidine, responsible for the public relations committee of the festival, thanked the ministry, and considered the meeting a win for the festival and the region for the response that the committee found from the director general of the ministry and his assistants. To complete the requirements, referring to the selection of the Al-Salam neighborhood square in Al-Ailfon to organize the festival, which accommodates all the creations of the region, the locality and the state.
