Khartoum 11-22-2022 (SUNA) _ A memorandum of understanding was signed today between the Sudan University of Science and Technology and the Giad Company for Tractors and Agricultural Equipment in the university administration buildings, where the two parties agreed to cooperate in solving agricultural problems through scientific research, in addition to training students to raise practical capabilities, and establish Training courses for GIAD employees to develop the skills of the trainees and provide consultations to serve the company.
Professor Issa Bashir, Rector of the University, signed on behalf of the university, while Mr. Abdullah Abdul Maarouf, CEO of Giad Group for Engineering Industries, signed on behalf of Giad Company, in the presence of a delegation from both sides.
Professor Issa Bashir welcomed the cooperation and cross-fertilization of ideas between governmental and non-governmental academic and industrial institutions for the benefit of both sides and the country, and announced his university’s readiness to solve all company issues through scientific research, referring to the university’s partnerships with many institutions in the fields of electricity and other service fields, and expressed his hope that The memorandum sees the light immediately after it is signed.
For his part, Professor Abdullah Abd al-Maarouf explained that the integration between the university and Giad in agricultural tractors can provide great agricultural services, and stressed their readiness to cooperate and implement the memorandum announcing their donation to the university of (50) light bulbs from the economic products of the Giad company of high quality and efficiency, and welcomed In cooperation with the university in the field of small industries that provide solutions to many community issues, stressing their sponsorship of the wheat cultivation project during the entire summer season.
