The Court of Fatwa on Killing Protesters will hear Hemedti on October 12th

Khartoum 09-28-2022 (SUNA) – The Fatwa Court decided to kill the demonstrators, addressing Lieutenant-General Muhammad Hamdan Dagalo (Hemedti), Vice-President of the Sovereignty Council, to testify as an indictment witness in the session of Wednesday, corresponding to the twelfth of next October, while the court will hear in the session of Wednesday, the fifth of October to the complainant in the case, Engineer Abdul-Baqi Ahmed, father of the martyr Al-Nazir Abdul-Baqi, who was martyred in front of the General Command of the Armed Forces on April 19, 2019. This came in a session of the Fatwa Court on the killing of demonstrators today at the Institute of Judicial and Legal Sciences in the Judicial Authority, headed by Maulana Zuhair Babiker Abdel Razek, the judge of the General Court. For his part, the investigation of the case was completed by a second prosecutor, Maulana Abdul Rahim Al-Khair, presenting the accusation documents against the accused, the ousted President Omar Hassan Ahmed Al-Bashir and his deputy Ali Othman Mohamed Taha, Maulana Ahmed Mohamed Haroun, head of the dissolved National Congress Party, and Al-Fateh Ezz El-Din, the former Speaker of Parliament. In the indictment document No. (7-D), the third defendant, Ahmed Harun, when he was governor of South Kordofan state in 2013, appears addressing regular forces urging them to fight the rebels and that he does not want prisoners who constitute an “administrative burden” according to the video, but the defendant’s lawyer said that he accepts The document is in form and stated that the document has nothing to do with the lawsuit. As for the document (7-e), in which the fourth accused, Al-Fateh Ezzedine, appeared threatening the communist, Baathist and renegade demonstrators (by beheading) if they took up arms against the regime. However, the defendant’s lawyer said that the document was fragmented passages and did not represent what the defendant had mentioned in the hadith. In his statements to the defense team, the investigation explained that these documents were prepared and brought by the complainant.
