Khartoum, November 22, 2022 (SUNA) – The Minister of Social Development in Khartoum, Seddik Freni, directed the opening of marketing outlets to accommodate the products of the segments funded by the Industries and Small Business Authority, and to move the revenue streams for them in a way that achieves an ideal rate in the growth of programs and activities, supports production and productivity, and supports the development renaissance in the state.
This came during his chairmanship today of a meeting discussing the budget of the Industries and Small Business Development Authority for the year 2023 AD, where Freeni confirmed that the new year’s budget constitutes a new stage in the work of the authority characterized by participation in the comprehensive renaissance programs in the state, and Freeni called on the employees of the authority to make a self-assessment of the projects and programs that are presented to the beneficiaries and the extent Alignment with the requirements of the renaissance sought by the state. For his part, the Director General of the Industries and Small Business Development Authority, Salah Al-Sir, explained that the total volume of the 2023 budget for the authority amounted to (1,454,417,496), an increase higher than the previous year by (244%), due to the economic situation the country is going through and the increase in the exchange rate, in addition to the expansion of the authority in operational programs. .
