Khartoum, November 22, 2022 (SUNA) – The Minister of Livestock, Prof. Ibrahim Abdel Nabi preserved the importance of joint cooperation and fruitful coordination between the center and the states.
This came when he met with the mandated Wali of North Darfur, Professor. Abdul Rahman Nimr, where the meeting discussed the importance of livestock in the state and how to develop it, stressing the need to support the livestock sector technically and logistically.
Hafez said that his ministry’s strategy is to pay attention to quarries and slaughterhouses in accordance with international health requirements, calling on the private sector to enter into partnerships with his ministry to establish and rehabilitate slaughterhouses.
He also pledged to establish a center for artificial insemination and sperm production to improve animal offspring, announcing the separation of the state’s livestock management and raising it to a ministry.
For his part, the price of the governor of North Darfur, Professor. Abdul Rahman Nimr and the efforts of the Ministry of Animal Resources in the support it provides to the state and demanded the provision of veterinary services and laboratories, especially mobile veterinary clinics.
