Khartoum 11-13-2022 (SUNA) – The Governor of Khartoum State in charge, Ahmed Othman Hamza, witnessed Saturday evening at the National Theater in Omdurman the night of the artist Ibrahim Al-Kashef under the slogan (My country is a country of goodness and goodness), which came as the inauguration of the Khartoum Cultural Days Festival organized by the Ministry of Culture, Information and Tourism In Khartoum, a group of people of art, culture and creativity, and those interested in cultural affairs, are in Khartoum.
In his speech on this occasion, the governor saluted the martyrs of the December revolution who sacrificed their lives for change, pointing out that the desired change must include all aspects of life, including the field of culture and arts, which witnessed stagnation and dwindling during the last period as a natural result of the difficult circumstances the country is witnessing.
He said that the launch of this festival came after effort and thought with officials of the Ministry of Culture, Information and Tourism in the state and the Federation of Musical Professions to mobilize the population in the field of culture and arts, and that the night of the artist Ibrahim Al-Kashef is the inauguration to move the wheel of culture in the role, theaters and cultural centers in the state, as well as attention to creators, honoring them and visiting them in their homes. And ensuring their treatment, as well as implementing a comprehensive plan for the maintenance of museums, antiquities, tabs and tourist facilities in the state.
For his part, the Director-General of the Ministry of Culture, Information and Tourism in the state, in charge, Awad Ahmadan, said that the Khartoum cultural days will be full of art, formation, drama and various forms of art and creativity. Everything and he was a genius who gave Sudanese art the juice of his rich experience, so he deserved this honor.
The musician Hashem Abdel Salam gave an overview of Al-Kashef’s singing career and said that Al-Kashef is a musical encyclopedia with a value dimension and its splendor lies in his constant readiness to create his own world, so he succeeded in creating an unparalleled school in the field of art, music and melodies.
Tonight witnessed the honoring of the family of the artist Ibrahim Al-Kashef, represented by his daughter, Ilham Ibrahim Al-Kashef, and the musicians who accompanied Al-Kashef throughout his artistic career were honored, namely the musician Abdel-Fattah Allah Gabo and Muhammad Al-Hassan Babiker Al-Sangak, while a number of senior artists participated in the performance of the songs of the late Ibrahim Al-Kashef.
