Khartoum 11-21-2022 (SUNA) – The Muhammad Saeed Al-Abbasi Center for Culture and Science in Khartoum hosted, on Saturday, the first touch of loyalty to the late artist and media figure, Professor Imad Eddin Ibrahim, under the slogan (O country of light and the foundation of goodness – an early day must remain the last), under the generous sponsorship of the Ministry of Culture and Information The state of Khartoum . Mr. Musa Othman, Director of the General Department of Culture in Khartoum State, representative of the Director General of the Ministry, spoke about the beginnings of the Abbasi Center, and stated that honoring when the center comes with history in cultural work indicates the importance of the deceased, and he thanked the center’s family for this work.
He explained that the deceased is considered the founder of the Ministry of Culture and Information in the state of Khartoum in the year 2006 after its dismissal from the Ministry of Social Affairs. He referred to his role in the theater of Lieutenant General Ibrahim Ahmed Abdel Karim, and talked about the late refusal to use his site to print any of his works.
Musa had mercy on the deceased, and concluded his speech with, “Imad Qama, we cannot give him his due.”
Mr. Mowaffaq Abdel Rahman Mohamed, former Secretary General of the National Council for Culture and Arts, in his speech on behalf of the Center, thanked the large audience who completed the painting The Fallout of Love and Loyalty.
And he stressed the importance of the interest of the cultural entities of society in presenting touches of loyalty and celebration of the legacy left by the departed creators of my country, such as the late comprehensive artist Imad Eddin Ibrahim.
He thanked everyone who attended, who spoke and who provided support for the success of the event.
He added that the touches of loyalty will continue, explaining that the center has been implementing them, and pointed out that the previous touch of loyalty was against the late Lieutenant General Ibrahim Ahmed Abdel Karim on the second of last October, and noted that the center’s work plan aims to bring out cultural activities towards the countryside. Professor Muwaffaq talked about his relationship with the late, and said, “I joined the beloved Imad, and we worked together in many successful programs, including the implementation of the vision of registering and activating cultural entities in the center and the state. As a shrewd administrative man besides his creativity, he is a man who cares about the details of implementation as well as the realization of the overall vision, so he succeeded in achieving many successes and contributions that we keep remembering as long as we live.He referred to working with all parties and cultural symbols to form a supreme committee to honor the late.And at the end of his speech, he saluted the Ministry of Culture and Information as a state Khartoum on Karim’s sponsorship of the event.
The speakers at the event are among the symbols of cultural action in the country. They enumerated the exploits of the late Imad Eddin Ibrahim, their personal relationship with him, his creations, and their memories with him. Professor Musab Al-Sawy, Ambassador Ali Mahdi Nuri, Professor Al-Fateh Hussein, Dean of the Faculty of Music and Theater, and Professor Abboud Seif El-Din, Director of Beladi Radio, spoke at the Loyalty Touch.
Ms. Nadia Ahmed Babiker and her son Muhammad Emad El-Din spoke on behalf of the family and thanked everyone for what they had done.
The beginning of the Loyalty Touch program witnessed a screening of a film produced by the Abbasi Center and directed by Al-Istaz Al-Hadi Ahmed Dafa Allah, about the late’s journey, including his autobiography, a number of his poetic works, songs, plays, and testimonies by the director Hassan Kadasa, Dr. Alaa Al-Daban Al-Khawad, and others. The event witnessed the presentation of a number of theatrical scenes from some of the late plays, presented by the actress, Ms. Hanan Al-Jack and the actress Ms. Al-Taf Hassan, with the participation of Ms. Nadia Ahmed Babiker. The family of the Muhammad Saeed Al Abbasi Cultural Center, and the representative of the Director General of the Ministry, honored the family of the late Imad Eddin Ibrahim, represented by Professor Nadia Ahmed Babiker and his two sons, Muhammad and Rayan. After that, the artist, Professor Saber Jamil and the artist, Professor Awad Kassala, presented some of the songs from the poems of the late. At the end of the event, the poet presented Taj Al-Sir Abbas, Director of the Forum A break from the poetic readings.
