Khartoum 11-18-2022 (SUNA) – The African Cinema Days demonstration will conclude its activities today at the Omdurman Cultural Center. Within the Neighbors Cinema seminars, Ms. Nada Hafeez presented, on Monday, the fourteenth of November, a paper entitled (A Look at Women and Cinema in East Africa) and indicated that women and cinema are rarely discussed, with the exception of some countries such as Kenya, which receive more spotlight. Female filmmakers have made great strides towards fame, and mentioned that financial support in Africa is the first problem facing female and male filmmakers, in addition to the historical male dominance in the field of cinema.
